Plant Selection Lists

We hope our extensive plant lists/catalogue below will help you find and select plants suited to your garden or grounds especially those plants you have found difficult to source elsewhere.
We have published a full catalogue in both PDF Full Catalogue PDF, and in Excel Full Catalogue Excel, format so that you can choose the format that suits you best.
PDFs of individual categories are also available. Our stocks are constantly changing.
The current lists below are posted in Dec. 23 based on our database of May 23.
I am preparing new lists for posting in Jan 26 from my October 2026 data base .
We do not have a gallery of photos of the plants, as these can all be found easily enough online but hope to start regular facebook seasonal diary posts .
Our plant catalogue is listed alphabetically, offering over 2000+ different lines.
Plants are categorised into sections.
Each species/variety is primarily stocked wherever we think it will grow best either at our:
South – East NorthDown Nursery – RHS code SEND
or
Midlands – Mucklestone nurseries – RHS code MMuc
E-mail us at info@botanyplants.co.uk with your ‘wish list’ and contact details and we will get back to you with available sizes, prices and delivery costs.
Plants from both nurseries can be collected together for collection or delivery out from either nursery (given a little time.) We stock only limited no.s of each cultivar. But having browsed on line it is always best to come and explore and pick out what you like the look of in person.

Conservatory plants and Succulents
In Kent (SEND) we grow a wide range of half hardy plants best suited to a conservatory or cold greenhouse in winter, needing some protection from hard frost and/or winter wet (**) . Many larger ones can be tried planted outside by the more adventurous in a sheltered position in mild coastal or inner city areas, giving an exotic feel to courtyards etc. this includes Abutilons, Oleanders, Jasmines, Pseudopanex, Scheffera Phoenix and Chamerops palms, Solanums, Hardenbergia, Musa bajo -bananas, yucca elephantipes, Cannas, Hedisariums etc. Fatsias. The cacti and succulents, like opuntias, agaves and aloes , and geraniums and pelargoniums give a Mediterranean feel and are particularly suited to growing in pots, that can be brought in or covered up to protect them from winter wet- . Their sap is like antifreeze -the dryer they are , the hardier they are . We grow the types that dislike lime (@) such as grevillea, leptospermum, callistemon at our Staffordshire nursery , with sifter water. We have other types (***) that should be kept frost free in winter – Asparagus ferns , Aspidistra , Pteris ferns etc. Plumbago
